Essence

adapts Cas12a split-crRNA activation into a platform for detecting nucleic acid and non-nucleic acid targets.

Evidence

This diagnostic platform study optimized Cas12a-split crRNA design rules, validated microRNA sensitivity and mismatch discrimination, detected tobramycin, kanamycin, biotin, and tetracycline repressor protein, and added a lateral flow readout.

Caveat

The abstract reports platform demonstrations and analytical performance, not clinical or field validation in real diagnostic samples.
