Effects of Tirzepatide and a Multi-Action Cream on Cellulite Over 12 Months

Updated

Abstract

Significant improvements in cellulite severity were observed across treatment groups, with a mean change of -1.63 ± 0.81 over 12 months.

  • The combination therapy of tirzepatide and a topical formulation (G21) led to the greatest reductions in cellulite severity compared to tirzepatide alone.
  • Weight loss was significantly different among treatment groups, with the largest reductions in the combination and tirzepatide groups.
  • Improvements in cellulite severity were not significantly correlated with changes in body weight or fat mass.
  • Baseline body weight and baseline cellulite severity were identified as independent predictors of improvement in cellulite.
  • Topical therapy was associated with greater improvements in cellulite-specific structural changes compared to systemic weight loss alone.
