Timing daily activities by body clock for evening-type people with obesity and its effects on weight control and sleep quality

Abstract

Participants in the SİZAP group exhibited a statistically significant decrease in anthropometric measurements and daytime sleepiness (p < 0.05).

  • SİZAP is associated with improved obesity management among evening-chronotype individuals.
  • Significant enhancements in sleep quality scores were observed in the intervention group compared to the control group (p < 0.05).
  • The bodily functions sub-dimension scores of the quality of life scale significantly improved in the SİZAP group (p < 0.05).
  • No dietary interventions were implemented in either the SİZAP or control groups during the study.
