Abstract

The detection limit of the electrochemical biosensor for cTnI is 10 pg/mL with a linear range from 100 pg/mL to 50,000 pg/mL.

  • The biosensor utilizes magnetic nanoparticles and aptamers in combination with CRISPR/Cas12a for cTnI detection.
  • In the presence of cTnI, the aptamer binds to it and releases a specific DNA probe.
  • The released probe activates the CRISPR/Cas12a system, leading to the cleavage of a DNA signal on the electrode surface.
  • This process results in a measurable decrease in the electrochemical signal, indicating the presence of cTnI.
  • The platform has been successfully tested for cTnI detection in human serum.
