Abstract
A detection limit of 132 copies/μL for the methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus gene was achieved with a new biosensing platform.
- The platform integrates the CRISPR/Cas12a system with MXene nanozymes for sensitive DNA detection.
- Target recognition by the Cas12a/crRNA complex activates MXenes, resulting in a visible signal.
- An exponential circular DNA amplification strategy improved sensitivity, allowing detection of the B-raf proto-oncogene V600E mutation down to 109 aM.
- The approach demonstrated good reproducibility and high recovery rates in simulated clinical samples.
