Testing a special polymer to deliver CRISPR gene-editing tools into mouse immune cells

Updated

Abstract

VP-R8 increased fluorescent signal in mouse dendritic cells compared to other transfection reagents.

  • VP-R8 successfully introduced RNP complexes into a mouse dendritic cell line.
  • Genome editing was detected in cells transfected with the RNP complex using VP-R8.
  • VP-R8 also delivered RNP complexes into mouse primary dendritic cells effectively.
  • Genome editing was achieved in dendritic cells without triggering early inflammatory cytokines.
  • This method may facilitate the study of dendritic cell functions and their application in vaccines.
