  • DELLA proteins are known to repress gibberellin (GA) responses, but their interactions with other proteins are not fully understood.
  • Single mutants of four DELLA-interacting RING domain proteins did not significantly affect GA responses.
  • The boi quadruple mutant showed enhanced GA signaling, leading to earlier flowering and a faster transition from juvenile to adult phases.
  • Overexpression of BOI led to reduced GA signaling phenotypes.
  • The GAI protein requires BOIs to inhibit certain GA responses.
  • BOI and DELLA proteins bind to the promoters of specific GA-responsive genes and repress their expression.
