The prevalence of Long COVID among COVID-19 survivors in Saudi Arabia is 32.0%.

  • Common symptoms of Long COVID include fatigue (68%), dyspnea (45%), and cognitive impairment (39%).
  • Factors associated with an increased risk of Long COVID include female sex, moderate-to-severe acute infection, incomplete vaccination, metabolic disorders, and obesity.
  • Among those experiencing Long COVID, 41% required specialty care, and 12% reported work disability.
  • The findings indicate a significant healthcare and socioeconomic burden related to Long COVID in Saudi Arabia.
