Abstract
The patient experienced a decrease in HbA1c after switching from dulaglutide to tirzepatide.
- Switching from dulaglutide to tirzepatide resulted in a decrease in HbA1c levels.
- An increase in estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) was observed following the switch.
- Blood urea nitrogen (BUN) levels decreased after transitioning to tirzepatide.
- This case suggests that switching to tirzepatide may inhibit the progression of renal impairment.
- The efficacy and safety of such a switch have not been previously evaluated in clinical studies.
