Essence

Female was not linked to annual or lifetime reproductive success or longevity in free-living great tits.

Evidence

A long-term observational study of individually marked female great tits used nest-box emergence time alongside eggs, fledglings, recruits, and age at death and found no significant chronotype associations.

Caveat

The null result comes from one wild population and uses morning nest-box emergence as the chronotype proxy.
