High-dose Fufang Gaoziban Pian (FGZBP) effectively alleviated depressive and anxious behaviors in mice exposed to chronic unpredictable mild stress.

  • FGZBP improved brain and intestinal health by reversing damage associated with stress.
  • The treatment upregulated genes linked to the estrogen receptor pathway in stressed mice.
  • High-dose FGZBP reduced inflammation by diminishing pro-inflammatory mediators and enhancing levels of BDNF and PSD-95.
