GLP-1 receptor drugs and thinking skills in nondiabetic people with mild memory problems or Alzheimer's: a combined analysis of clinical trials

Updated

Abstract

Essence

In randomized trials, GLP-1 receptor agonists did not improve cognition in nondiabetic patients with Alzheimer's disease or mild cognitive impairment.

Evidence

Caveat

The evidence base was small, with only 4 trials and 112 patients, which limits precision about any modest effect.
