Abstract
The association between glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1RAs) and skin cancer risk remains inconclusive.
- GLP-1RAs may be linked to the risk of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer.
- The study compares GLP-1RAs with sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitors (SGLT2is) and dipeptidyl peptidase 4 inhibitors (DPP4is).
- Participants in the study are adults with type 2 diabetes (T2D).
- Existing evidence on this topic has shown mixed results.
