Essence

Asian, Black, and Other race breast cancer patients with type 2 diabetes were less likely than White patients to receive GLP-1RAs.

Evidence

Retrospective TriNetX electronic health record cohort of 119,430 breast cancer patients with type 2 diabetes from 2005-2024, using propensity-matched race comparisons.

Caveat

The EHR cohort identifies treatment-use disparities but cannot determine the clinical, insurance, preference, or system-level causes.
