Abstract

Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a well-established risk factor for cardiovascular disease.

  • Glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1RAs) may reduce cardiovascular risk.
  • GLP-1RAs could improve the severity of obstructive sleep apnea.
  • There is a significant knowledge gap regarding the effects of GLP-1RAs on cardiovascular events in patients with OSA.
