South Korean Healthcare Workers Keep COVID-19 Antibodies Six Months After Second Pfizer Vaccine Dose

A total of 982 blood samples were analyzed from 249 healthcare workers following BNT162b2 mRNA COVID-19 vaccination.

  • Positive neutralizing antibodies were found in 66.7% of participants four weeks after the first dose, but this dropped to 63.3% six months after the second dose.
  • Spike protein-IgG antibodies were present in 98.8% of participants before vaccination and remained positive for all participants at three and six months post-vaccination.
