Updated

Abstract

More than half of adolescents (58.21%) reported using mHealth apps.

  • Older adolescents and girls were more likely to use mHealth apps.
  • Higher perceived financial security in parents was associated with more frequent use of step-counting apps.
  • Increased physical activity and higher eHealth literacy skills correlated with mHealth app usage.
