Intranasal ketamine at 8.58 mg/kg improved depressive-like behaviors in male rats subjected to chronic mild stress.

  • RNA sequencing identified changes related to oxidative phosphorylation and highlighted Ndufa10 as a potential target linked to ketamine's effects.
  • Mitochondrial complex I activity may play a role in the antidepressant-like effects of intranasal ketamine, as pharmacological inhibition diminished these effects.
