Abstract

The effects of ketamine treatment on cognitive function in patients with treatment-resistant depression (TRD) remain unclear.

  • Ketamine has shown rapid effects on depressive symptoms in individuals with TRD.
  • The influence of ketamine on cognitive function is not yet fully understood.
  • An exploratory analysis evaluated whether initial cognitive function may relate to the response to ketamine treatment.
