Single-part molecules with both water-loving and water-repelling sides as carriers for effective mRNA vaccine delivery

Updated

Abstract

Essence

A one-component Janus dendrimer system may simplify mRNA vaccine delivery to immune tissues.

Evidence

This formulation and delivery-platform experiment developed self-assembling ionizable amphiphilic Janus dendrimers and tested IAJD97 with mRNA encoding norovirus capsid protein as a proof of concept.

Caveat

The abstract reports platform potential but no human efficacy, durability, safety, or head-to-head clinical comparison with existing lipid nanoparticles.
