Testing the Korean version of the Sleep, Body Clock, and Mood questionnaire

Updated

Abstract

Of the 600 respondents surveyed, 528 were analyzed to validate the Korean version of the Sleep, Circadian Rhythms, and Mood (SCRAM) questionnaire.

  • Exploratory factor analysis revealed a three-factor structure: Good Sleep, Morningness, and Depressed Mood.
  • Confirmatory factor analysis indicated a good model fit for the three-factor structure of the SCRAM (CFI = 0.987, TLI = 0.985, RMSEA = 0.062, SRMR = 0.049).
  • The SCRAM demonstrated good psychometric properties across its three dimensions under the item-response theory framework.
  • Internal consistency for each factor was high, with Cronbach's alpha values of 0.876, 0.873, and 0.924.
  • The total 15-item alpha was 0.698, indicating moderate internal consistency.
  • The SCRAM showed good convergent validity with other established rating scales and sleep indices.
