Using Fat-Based Nanoparticles to Disrupt Blood Vessels in Lung Cancer Spread

Updated

Abstract

A combination of cRGD-LNP/siFasL and STING-LNPs showed significant antitumor effects in mouse models of lung metastases.

  • cRGD-LNPs were found to accumulate in the blood vessels of tumor colonies in the lung.
  • The combination therapy led to a notable reduction in the blood vessels within tumor colonies without affecting normal lung tissue.
  • This strategy may selectively disrupt tumor vasculature, thereby enhancing antitumor activity.
