Evidence

An open-label phase 2a trial followed 19 people with major depressive disorder receiving 16 sublingual LSD microdoses over 8 weeks, with daily mood, depression, drug-effect, and blood pharmacokinetic measures.

Caveat

The small uncontrolled sample, mostly male participants, and non-significant dosing-day depression change mean efficacy needs controlled confirmation.
