  • 59.6% of children demonstrated medium adherence to the Mediterranean Diet.
  • 13.5% of children achieved high adherence to the Mediterranean Diet.
  • Adherence levels were evaluated using the Mediterranean Diet Quality Index for Children and Adolescents (KIDMED).
  • The educational level of the mother was associated with the children's adherence to the Mediterranean Diet.
  • The occupational status of both parents was also associated with children's adherence levels.
