Abstract
A significant positive association was found between melatonin amplitude and sleep efficiency (β = 0.317, p < 0.037).
- No significant seasonal variations in sleep efficiency were observed among Arctic residents (p > 0.05).
- Melatonin amplitude is positively associated with sleep efficiency, suggesting it may influence sleep quality.
- Melatonin phase parameters did not show a significant relationship with sleep efficiency (p > 0.3).
- Findings indicate that enhancing melatonin amplitude could be a potential strategy for improving sleep quality.
