CM@Lipos-KGN significantly enhances the directional chondrogenic differentiation of BMSCs under inflammatory conditions in vitro.

  • A new targeting system, CM@Lipos-KGN, was developed using M2 macrophage membranes and kartogenin (KGN).
  • CM@Lipos-KGN effectively protects cartilage by suppressing inflammation and preventing chondrocyte cell death.
  • In animal studies, CM@Lipos-KGN slowed osteoarthritis progression and increased cartilage-related proteins.
