Abstract

Long COVID affects a significant proportion of COVID-19 survivors.

  • Long COVID, also known as Post-Acute Sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 infection (PASC), is linked to ongoing symptoms after infection.
  • Common symptoms include persistent fatigue, dysautonomia, and cardiovascular complications.
  • The underlying cellular mechanisms driving these chronic symptoms are not fully understood.
