Concerns about neuropsychiatric adverse events (NPAEs) such as depression and suicidality are associated with GLP-1-based therapies.

  • The study utilized VigiBase to analyze reporting patterns of NPAEs related to GLP-1 therapies.
  • Disproportionality analysis indicated notable reporting of NPAEs in patients receiving GLP-1-based treatments.
  • The findings suggest that the risk of neuropsychiatric events may vary across different GLP-1 therapies.
