Bedtime dosing of antihypertensive medications significantly reduces nighttime systolic blood pressure by 4.87 mmHg.

  • Nighttime diastolic blood pressure also decreases significantly with bedtime dosing, with a reduction of 2.80 mmHg.
  • In populations classified as non-dippers, the reductions in nighttime blood pressure are more pronounced, with a systolic reduction of 7.57 mmHg and diastolic reduction of 3.77 mmHg.
  • Higher baseline proportions of non-dippers (≥ 60%) are associated with nearly double the reduction in nighttime systolic blood pressure compared to lower proportions (< 60%)
