MDMA-assisted psychotherapy and intravenous ketamine have the most PTSD trial evidence among psychedelics, but results were mixed.

Evidence

A systematic review of 13 randomized controlled studies found significant PTSD symptom improvements in 4 of 6 MDMA-assisted psychotherapy studies and efficacy signals in 3 of 7 intravenous ketamine studies.

Caveat

Interpretation is limited by treatment expectancy, possible inadequate blinding, mostly civilian samples, and little randomized evidence for other psychedelics.
