Abstract
Qingxin Jianpi Decoction (QXJP) significantly restores hormonal balance and ovarian function in a rat model of cyclophosphamide-induced diminished ovarian reserve.
- QXJP treatment leads to restored estrous cyclicity and increased follicle counts in DOR rats.
- Hormone levels of FSH, LH, E2, and AMH are significantly rebalanced after QXJP administration (all p < 0.01).
- The decoction reduces granulosa cell apoptosis, indicated by decreased Bax and cleaved Caspase-3 levels and increased Bcl-2.
- Ferroptosis-related changes are attenuated by QXJP, with upregulation of SLC7A11 and downregulation of MDA, 4-HNE, and ACSL4.
- QXJP activates the PI3K/AKT/Nrf2 signaling pathway, as shown by increased ratios of p-PI3K/PI3K and p-AKT/AKT, along with upregulation of Nrf2, HO-1, and GPX4 (p < 0.05).
