Patients experienced a total weight loss of -10.97% with semaglutide and -13.63% with tirzepatide after metabolic bariatric surgery.
- Fifteen to forty percent of patients may experience recurrent weight gain after metabolic bariatric surgery.
- Semaglutide is associated with a percentage total weight loss of -10.97%, based on data from eight retrospective studies.
- Tirzepatide is associated with a percentage total weight loss of -13.63% in the same patient population.
