Among 20,350 adverse event reports, 105 significant adverse events were identified for tirzepatide.
- Common adverse events included gastrointestinal disorders, with nausea and diarrhea being frequently reported.
- The strongest signals detected were injection-site coldness and belching.
- Known risks such as pancreatitis and hypoglycemia were confirmed, with 190 and 115 cases reported, respectively.
- Novel safety signals included upper respiratory infections and postmenopausal hemorrhage.
- The median onset time for adverse events was 26 days, with half occurring within the first month.
- Older adults experienced a significantly earlier onset of events compared to younger individuals.
