A new cosmetic formula visibly reduces frown lines, smile wrinkles, and crow’s feet in a controlled clinical trial

Updated

Abstract

A two-step formulation with N-acetyl tyrosinamide improved the appearance of wrinkles in 70 women over 16 weeks.

  • The formulation showed statistically significant improvement in nasolabial folds, glabellar lines, crow's feet, and under eye wrinkles compared to a vehicle.
  • Digital photography, clinical grading, ultrasound, and self-assessment scores confirmed these improvements.
  • The formulation also reduced pinch recoil time, indicating increased skin elasticity.
  • Both the active formulation and the vehicle were well tolerated by participants.
  • This cosmetic formulation may serve as a standalone treatment as well as a complementary option to injectable therapies.
