  • Blue light significantly reduced the production of a key pheromone component and altered the pheromone blend composition.
  • Mating success was significantly decreased under blue light in both controlled laboratory and semi-field conditions.
  • Green light also impacted mating success in laboratory conditions, though not significantly in semi-field conditions.
  • Red light produced minimal effects on calling behavior, pheromone production, and mating success.
