Semaglutide, a GLP-1 receptor agonist, may have potential cognitive benefits in psychiatric populations.

Cognitive deficits are prevalent in various psychiatric disorders.
Treating cognitive deficits in these populations is challenging.
Semaglutide has shown cognitive benefits in individuals with diabetes and obesity.
The effects of semaglutide on cognitive function in psychiatric disorders are not well understood.
