Abstract
Novel methyl and propanoic acid derivatives were designed as potential GLP-1 receptor agonists for oral diabetes treatment.
- Current oral antidiabetic drugs face significant pharmacokinetic challenges.
- In silico methods were employed to create new compounds targeting the GLP-1 receptor.
- Two specific classes of compounds were designed: methyl derivatives and propanoic acid derivatives.
- These novel agents are proposed based on findings from existing literature.
