Using Dipyridamole and L-Arginine to Treat Blood Vessel Inflammation in Long COVID: A Review of Past Cases

Updated

Abstract

Essence

Dipyridamole plus L-arginine was associated with improved long COVID endothelitis symptoms, especially in early and combination-treatment follow-up.

Evidence

This retrospective analysis included 44 patients treated with dipyridamole alone, L-arginine alone, or both, assessed at 6 weeks, 6 months, and in a nine-patient patient-reported subset about two years later.

Caveat

The findings are preliminary because treatment was clinician-directed, retrospective, nonrandomized, and underpowered for significant comparisons between combination and monotherapy groups.
