GB102 reduced body weight and improved glycemic control in high-fat-diet-fed mice.

  • GB102 is associated with changes in metabolic hormones, including adipokines, and reduced inflammation in fat tissue.
  • Metabolomic profiling indicated that GB102 produces high levels of succinic acid, linked to increased energy expenditure.
  • The strain enhanced the production of glutamine and improved the conversion of arginine into other metabolites.
  • When used alongside GLP-1 receptor agonist dulaglutide, GB102 further promoted weight loss and maintained muscle strength.
  • The combination of GB102 and dulaglutide may reduce the likelihood of weight regain and glycemic rebound after treatment ends.
