Abstract
The study investigates the relationship between glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP1-RA) and the occurrence of diabetic retinopathy and non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION).
- GLP1-RA use is examined in relation to diabetic retinopathy and NAION.
- Dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitors (DPP4i) serve as active comparators in this analysis.
- The findings may suggest a potential association between GLP1-RA and these eye conditions.
