Abstract

The effect of glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1 RA) and sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitors (SGLT2i) on atrial fibrillation recurrence after catheter ablation is currently undefined.

GLP-1 RA and SGLT2i are known to improve cardiovascular outcomes.
Atrial fibrillation recurrence after catheter ablation is a significant clinical concern.
The potential relationship between these medications and atrial fibrillation recurrence is not yet established.
