Abstract

Trends in the use of glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists and sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 inhibitors among US adults with type 2 diabetes and obesity are characterized.

Utilization of glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1RAs) is observed among adults with type 2 diabetes and obesity.
Sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 inhibitors (SGLT2is) are also utilized in this population.
Metabolic and bariatric surgery trends are included in the analysis.
The study focuses on US adults, highlighting specific trends in treatment options.
