Updated

Abstract

A total of 103,607 female-specific reports were analyzed for gynecological hemorrhagic events associated with tirzepatide and semaglutide.

  • Gynecological hemorrhagic events occurred in 0.60% of tirzepatide cases and 0.62% of semaglutide cases.
  • The reporting odds ratio for tirzepatide compared to semaglutide was 0.97, indicating no statistically significant difference in reporting frequency.
  • A notable difference in reporting sources was found, with 94.6% of tirzepatide reports coming from consumers versus 53.4% for semaglutide.
  • No disproportionate reporting signal was detected for gynecological hemorrhagic events with tirzepatide compared to semaglutide.
  • Cautious interpretation of findings is suggested due to the high consumer-driven reporting for tirzepatide.
