Abstract

At postoperative day 15, the intervention group had a 2.4 point lower global Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index score compared to the standard care group.

  • Improvements in sleep latency, disturbance, and daytime dysfunction were observed in the intervention group.
  • Nutritional recovery was enhanced, with significant increases in albumin, prealbumin, transferrin, and PⅢNP levels.
  • Pain levels and opioid use decreased significantly postoperatively.
  • Anxiety and depression scores showed notable reductions, indicating improved psychological well-being.
  • Health-related quality of life gains were clinically meaningful across various dimensions, including global health and emotional functioning.
  • Lower levels of C-reactive protein and interleukin-6 were associated with the integrative intervention.
