Microdosing and its possible influence on changing health habits

Updated

Abstract

Essence

Psychedelic microdosing was self-reported as linked to healthier routines, especially when users intended to change.

Evidence

This retrospective mixed-method survey of 365 people with microdosing experience found self-reported positive changes in sleep, contemplative practices, physical activity, and work-life balance, with intention to change as the strongest predictor.

Caveat

The naturalistic retrospective design relies on self-report and cannot separate microdosing effects from intention, context, or participant expectations.
