- Nasal delivery of semaglutide could improve ease of use and patient compliance compared to injections.
- Encapsulation efficiencies exceeded 95% at a semaglutide concentration of 0.5 mg/mL.
- Formulations fully dissolved in nasal mucus within two hours, and over 30% absorption occurred in the first 20 minutes.
