Abstract
The dim light melatonin onset (DLMO) phase advanced on average by 47 minutes following a light treatment.
- The Morningness-Eveningness Questionnaire (MEQ) score increased by 1.8 points after the treatment.
- The Munich ChronoType Questionnaire (MCTQ) measure, MSFsc, advanced by 8.7 minutes, though this change was not statistically significant (p=0.17).
- A correlation was found between the increase in MEQ scores and the DLMO phase advance (MEQ r=-0.46, p=0.036).
- A strong correlation was observed between the MSFsc measure and the DLMO advance (MSFsc r=0.81, p<0.001).
- Results indicate that the MEQ and MCTQ can reflect changes in circadian timing after light treatment.
