Morning or evening preference linked to life satisfaction in Polish people

Updated

Abstract

A sample of 349 Polish residents showed a correlation of r = .105 between morningness and greater life satisfaction.

  • Eveningness is associated with lower satisfaction with life, supporting previous findings.
  • The study explored whether this relationship is consistent across different cultures.
  • Morningness was linked to higher life satisfaction, regardless of age and sex.
  • The strength and direction of the relationship between morningness/eveningness and life satisfaction did not significantly differ between Polish and German samples.
  • These findings suggest that cultural or geographical factors may not impact this association.
