  • Orphan receptors are classified into functional groups, including insulin secretagogues, transcriptional regulators, and metabolic sensors.
  • The review evaluates the biological roles of oGPCRs in key organs involved in diabetes, such as the pancreas, liver, and kidneys.
  • Signaling pathways related to incretin, energy sensing, insulin secretion, inflammation, and organ protection are discussed in relation to oGPCRs.
