Abstract

Glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1RAs) are increasingly used in patients with obesity and type 2 diabetes.

The relationship between GLP-1RAs and postoperative outcomes after lumbar fusion is unclear.
Patients with obesity and type 2 diabetes may experience different outcomes following lumbar fusion surgery.
Further investigation is needed to understand the specific associations of GLP-1RAs with postoperative recovery.
